  • I will never forget the day Amber gave me a fitness test. In a moment of doubt about what I had accomplished in my 3 weeks at Hilton Head, she said, “Look, even my BMI doesn’t look good on paper. The important thing is how far you have come and improved, and you are strong. You did better on this than some of the most fit people I know.” And in that moment, she gave me a confidence I hadn’t felt in a long time. This beautiful fit woman believed I had strength. I worked in a handful of her classes. EVERYONE said, “Hers are the hardest. Wait until week 2 before you take an Amber class.” I took my first Amber class on day 7 of my stay. And yes, it was challening, but Amber had this glimmer in her, this sort of “I see you even if you don’t want to hear what I’m telling you to do.” And in that glimmer, I also saw a woman who was teaching me that I could do anything. I hope your journey ahead brings you much joy, Amber, and whatever it is you are going to do, I hope you continue to teach others and give them confidence. And I hope you keep that glimmer in your eyes that said to me, “You are capable of this. I’m here because you are capable.” I will never forget the brief moments you spent in my world. Here’s to heartfelt gratitude for you!

  • Amber, when guests have experienced any of your classes at H3, they leave H3 without part of themselves and
a lot of you! A special guest gave you Tinkerbell wings last summer and you must fly now! Whatever and wherever you go you will make a difference in others lives! I plan to return to H3, but it won’t be the same place without you! Memories are precious and I know you have many! You and I did not work together. No, I was not feeling up to your speed. But I watched and would admire your style of training! You are one of a kind! Fly on! Know that you have touched many many people! Best wishes! Andi

  • Amber,
Some people just stick out in your memory forever even if you have known them for a short time.
You are the embodyment of light, energy and inspiration. Thanks for pushing me up those 15’s! Wishing you the very best on your journey. So glad to have met you on mine. PS – still trying to figure out those Paddleboard Headstands?!?!

  • Amber:
While I am devastated to hear the news that you are leaving H3 and will not be there on my next visit, you will always be there “in spirit”. I will never forget the inspiration and determination you instilled in me for which I am grateful. Outside bootcamp in the Summer will not be the same without you challenging us to not give up!!! Heartfelt congratulations on your journey and next chapter in life. Warmest Regards, Diana Parker

  • Dear Amber,
The word “Thanks” does not begin to express my gratitude for your teaching, pushing, enlivening, and energizing my body and the feeding of my soul. Point & Countepoint – cardio boxing and the harmonium.
The longest journey begins with but a single step…and you are taking a giant step indeed. A GentleHug for all you have done..and another for all you will do to continue to have a positive effect on the lives you touch.
The ice is going out of Shelburne Pond – time to visit the paddle board shoppe.

  • Amber,

Thank you does not seem to cover my gratitude for your constant encouragement to work harder and be better in every class. I always felt stronger and more accomplished after an hour with you. I can finally hold plank for 90 seconds because you challenge me and believe in me. All the best to you and your future. You are destined to continue blessing and improving lives. Thank you for touching mine.
    Warm regards, Brooke

  • I am proud to be one of the lucky ones who have been “Amberized” at H3! I really got to know you at the yoga retreat, and will never forget the way you glowed from within when you first played the harmonium for us! I hope you will stay in touch as you go on to shine for a new group of people. Fondly and with thanks, Laurel

Five Fruitful Years

Today, as I embark upon my new journey, I hold open space in my heart for utmost gratitude.  In this moment I’d like to recognize and acknowledge what a gift the past five years have been. Not only for myself, but also those who surround me.

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for making my time at Hilton Head Health simply unmatched. I am extremely blessed to have held such a rewarding position. As each and every single one of you have shaped me into the person I am today.

As a teacher, leader, and motivator you have helped me create art—many, many masterpieces that are beautifully unique and of which can never be recreated.

The memories, the shared journeys, the lights I have re-sparked and those that are constantly re-sparking mine will always hold a special place in my heart.

Remember, “There is no beginning or end to your dreams or plans. Life is a journey from moment to moment. Live each moment to the fullest”.

And that, my H3 friends and family, I have done. Thank you for five fruitful and heartful years. Now as my dreams and plans take flight and my journey continues I shall follow my desire to open my heart and excitingly embrace all the new moments to come!

With much respect, love and light to all.

Namaste,

Amber
