Healthy Recipes: Roasted Brussels Sprouts


¾ pound Brussel sprouts, cleaned and halved

1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic

1 piece turkey bacon

¼ cup white wine

¼ teaspoon sea salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper


  • Preheat oven to 425º F.
  • In a nonstick sauté pan over high heat, cook bacon until crispy. Drain on a paper towel and crumble.
  • In a large bowl, mix halved brussel sprouts, garlic, crumbled bacon, sea salt and pepper. Arrange in a 13×9 baking dish.
  • Pour wine over brussel sprouts.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until caramelized and tender.
